P90X Day 2 - Plyometrics
A day late, but better than nothing...
Plyometrics: "The mother of all workouts!" and this is no lie. Think speed, think agility, think coordination, think power - combine all of these and you get plyometrics.
This is a great 1hour long workout. It's tough - but the great thing about this exercise program, you can adjust your intensity level to "ease" yourself in. But, make no mistake, even at a low impact, plyometrics still kick major a--.
Since this is new to me, I did the entire workout in "low impact" mode in order for me to properly learn the workout and movements to be done correctly. Man, this was still very challenging to say the least, but I pushed on.

So glad to find this blog, I am doing it alone so it is great to hear someone bringing it. Today was day 6 and Monday is my rest day. The only problem is I hate Yoga X, instead I took a spin class...is this bad??
Hi Delite -
I don't that it's bad, but to get the most benefit from P90X, you should do it.
Yoga is a lot harder than I thought, too. Hate it, but love it the same time.
Yoga will not only help you work muscles you've never used before, but will also help in your flexibility fitness.
I recommend you give it a shot and just "do your best and forget the rest". It will eventually become easier and you'll love it!
